Ride Diagnosis

- Did you review the system descriptions and perform the necessary inspections? If so, go to next step. If not, see SYMPTOMS - SUSPENSION GENERAL DIAGNOSIS .NOTE: Compare this vehicle to an identical vehicle in order to determine if the customer's concern is a normal characteristic of the vehicle.
- Verify the ride is too soft or too hard. Does the vehicle ride normally? If so, system is OK. If not, go to next step.
- Inspect the vehicle trim height. Replace components if necessary. Refer to TRIM HEIGHT INSPECTION PROCEDURE . Did you find and correct the condition?
- Inspect the suspension components for wear or damage. Replace components if necessary. Refer to STRUTS OR SHOCK ABSORBERS ON-VEHICLE TESTING . Did you find and correct the condition? If so, go to next step. If not, system is OK.
- Drive the vehicle in order to verify the repair. Did you correct the condition? If so, system is OK. If not, go back to step 3.
