Lower Control Arm Replacement - AWD: Removal

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
- Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly.
- Remove the 2 bolts in order to separate the park brake cable from the lower control arm.
- Remove the nut and the stabilizer shaft link stud from the lower control arm. See Figure.
- Support the lower control arm (15) with a jack. See Figure.
- Use paint in order to place match marks on the 2 cams (5,6) and on the lower control arm. See Figure and Figure .
- Remove the nut (8) and the bolt (7). See Figure.
- Remove the nut (4) and the cam (5). See Figure.
- Remove the cam bolt (6). See Figure.
- Remove the nut and the bolt in order to separate the shock absorber from the lower control arm.
- Remove the nut (1) and the bolt (3). See Figure.
- Remove the 3 bolts (10,11,12) and the lower control arm from the vehicle. See Figure.
