Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION in TIRES AND WHEELS article.
- Disconnect the outer tie rod end from the suspension knuckle. Refer to TIE ROD REPLACEMENT (OUTER END) .
- Remove the nut (1) retaining the rear suspension adjustment link to the crossmember. See Fig 1.
- Remove the rear suspension adjustment link (2) from the vehicle.
