Installation (Pickup w/6.6L Engine)

  1. Install the starter motor to the engine rear cover.
  2. Install and tighten the starter motor bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the solenoid wires.
  4. Install and tighten the starter solenoid nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  5. Install the battery positive cable to the solenoid stud.
  6. Install and tighten the starter lead nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  7. If equipped with 4WD, install the right fender wheelhouse inner panel.
  8. If equipped with 4WD, install the right front tire and wheel. Tighten wheel lug nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  9. Lower the vehicle.
  10. Connect the negative battery cable. Tighten negative battery cable bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
