Front Brake Hose: Removal

- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Remove the front wheel and tire assembly. Clean all dirt and foreign material from the brake hoses and brake pipe fittings.
- Disconnect the front brake pipe fitting from the brake hose, then cap or plug the brake pipe fitting end. Remove the brake hose retaining clip from the front brake hose mounting bracket. Remove the brake hose from the bracket.
- Remove the front brake hose-to-caliper bolt from the brake caliper. Remove the brake hose from the caliper. Remove and discard the 2 copper brake hose gaskets. These gaskets may be stuck to the brake caliper and/or the brake hose end.
