Rear Brake Hardware: Installation

  1. Clean all parts in clean, denatured alcohol.
  2. Dry with low pressure, non-lubricated, filtered air.
  3. Inspect the brake caliper bracket for cracks. If cracked, replace bracket.
  4. Lubricate the brake caliper pin bolt sleeves with high temperature silicone lubricant.
  5. Install the brake caliper bracket. See REAR BRAKE CALIPER BRACKET  .
  6. Install the brake pad retainers to the bracket caliper bracket.
  7. Install the brake pads to the bracket caliper bracket.
  8. Install the brake caliper to the brake caliper bracket. See REAR BRAKE CALIPER  .
