Assembly Procedure

Install the flow control spring (2) to the pump housing assembly (1).
Install the control valve assembly (3) to the flow control spring (2).

Lubricate the O-ring seal (3) with power steering fluid.
Install the O-ring seal (3).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the connector and fitting assembly (3) to the pump housing (1).
Tighten: Tighten the connector and fitting assembly (3) to 75 N.m (55 lb ft).
