Removal (3.8L)

NOTE: Delphi CS130D (K68) 105-amp generator is serviced as a complete unit only.
  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Remove drive belt from generator.
  3. Remove generator rear brace.
  4. Remove bolts (1 & 3) and stud (2) from generator. See Fig 1 .
  5. Disconnect electrical connector from generator.
  6. Position aside protective boot from generator output BAT terminal for access.
  7. Remove generator output BAT terminal nut and remove positive battery cable from generator.
  8. Remove generator.
