Conditions for Clearing DTC P0503

DTC will clear under the following conditions:

The PCM turns off MIL during third consecutive trip in which diagnostic test runs and passes.
A scan tool can clear the MIL/DTC.
The PCM clears DTC from PCM history if vehicle completes 40 warm-up cycles without an emission-related diagnostic fault occurring.
The PCM cancels DTC default actions when ignition is off long enough to power down PCM.
