Brake System Slow Release

- Were you sent here from SYMPTOM LIST under GENERAL DIAGNOSIS in TROUBLE SHOOTING? If so, go to next step. If not, see HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM under DIAGNOSTIC STARTING POINTS in TROUBLE SHOOTING.
- Inspect the hydraulic brake system for proper operation. See HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS under TROUBLE SHOOTING. Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to step 5. If not, go to next step.
- Inspect the brake assist system for proper operation. See BRAKE ASSIST SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS under TROUBLE SHOOTING. If so, go to step 5. If not, go to next step.
- Inspect the disc brake system for proper operation. See DISC BRAKE SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS under TROUBLE SHOOTING. Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to next step. If not, see HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM under DIAGNOSTIC STARTING POINTS in TROUBLE SHOOTING.
- Road test the vehicle to confirm proper operation. See BRAKE SYSTEM VEHICLE ROAD TEST under SYSTEM TESTS. Is the condition still present? If so, go to step 2. If not, system is okay.
