Removal (Left Rear - Without 4-Wheel Steering)

- Release the park brake.
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Relieve the tension from the park brake cable by pulling down on the cable in front of the equalizer and removing the cable from the equalizer bar.
- Remove the cable from the mounting bracket by depressing the locking tabs. See Fig 1.
- Remove the cable at the shock absorber bracket by removing the bolt. See Fig 2.
- On all models except 1500 series utilities, remove the cable from the lever. See Figure.
- Remove the cable from the backing plate by depressing the locking tabs.
- Remove the cable.
- On 1500 series utilities, remove the cable from the lever. See Fig 3.
- Remove the cable from the backing plate by depressing the locking tabs.
- Remove the cable.
