Park Brake Cable Mounting Bracket: Installation

  1. Install the cable support bracket. See Figure.
  2. Install the cable support bracket nuts. Tighten the support bracket nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the rear cables to the mounting bracket by inserting the cable until all the retaining tabs snap into place. See Figure.
  4. Connect the rear cables to the equalizer.
  5. Tighten the nut to the intermediate cable at the equalizer. Tighten the nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  6. Remove the safety stands.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
