Brake System Noise

- Were you sent here from SYMPTOM LIST under GENERAL DIAGNOSIS under TROUBLESHOOTING? If so, go to next step. If not, see HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM under DIAGNOSTIC STARTING POINT under TROUBLESHOOTING.
- Inspect the disc brake system for proper operation. See DISC BRAKE SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS under TROUBLESHOOTING. Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to step 6 . If not, go to next step.
- Inspect the brake assist system for proper operation. See BRAKE ASSIST SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS under TROUBLESHOOTING. Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to step 6 . If not, go to next step.
- Inspect the hydraulic brake system for proper operation. See HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS under TROUBLESHOOTING. Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to step 6 . If not, go to next step.
- Inspect the park brake system for proper operation. See PARK BRAKE SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS under TROUBLESHOOTING. Did you find and correct a condition? If so, go to next step. If not, go to DIAGNOSTIC STARTING POINT under TROUBLESHOOTING.
- Road test the vehicle in order to confirm proper operation. See BRAKE SYSTEM VEHICLE ROAD TEST under SYSTEM TESTS. Is the condition still present? If so, go to step 2 . If not, system is okay.
