Rear Disc Brake Backing Plate: Installation

  1. Install the backing plate.
  2. Install the backing plate bolts. Tighten the bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Install the rear disc brake rotor. See BRAKE ROTOR  .
  4. Install the tire and the wheel assembly.
    NOTE: Pump the brake pedal until it is firm before moving the vehicle. Check the brake fluid level in the master cylinder after pumping the brakes.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
