Park Brake Release Handle Assembly: Removal

  1. Release the park brake.
  2. Open the park brake cable retaining clip.
  3. Disconnect the release cable from the pedal assembly. See Figure .
  4. Remove the park brake cable grommet from the pedal assembly.
  5. Remove the release handle by depressing the clips on the sides of the handle stem.
  6. Twist the cable end and remove from the instrument panel.
