Park Brake Cable: Removal

  1. Release the park brake.
  2. Raise the vehicle and support the vehicle with safety stands.
  3. Remove the cotter pin. See Fig 1 .
  4. Remove the clevis pin.
  5. Disconnect the clevis from the cable.
  6. Disconnect the grommet from the bracket.
  7. Remove the cable from the clip. See Fig 2 .
  8. Disconnect the grommet from the body.
  9. Disconnect the retaining fingers from the lever. See Fig 3 .
  10. Remove the cable assembly.
