Park Brake Lever Assembly: Removal

  1. Remove the rear floor console. See REAR FLOOR CONSOLE  .
  2. Disconnect the park brake switch electrical connector. See Fig 1 .
  3. Remove the upper park brake front cable nut. Remove the lower park brake front cable nut.
  4. Remove the 2 bolts and the lever. Unfasten the tab in order to remove the park brake front cable from the lever.
  5. Remove the screw from the park brake switch. Remove the park brake switch.
