Park Brake Cable Equalizer: Removal

- Remove the rear floor console. See REAR FLOOR CONSOLE .
- Loosen the upper park brake cable nut. Loosen the lower park brake cable nut.
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- On vehicles with front-wheel drive, complete the following steps:
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the catalytic converter.
- Remove the 3 nuts and the front floor forward heat shield.
- Remove the 2 nuts and the front floor center heat shield.
- On all vehicles, remove the 3 park brake cables from the equalizer.
