Park Brake Cable Equalizer: Installation

- Connect the 3 park brake cables to the equalizer.
- If the vehicle has front-wheel drive, complete the following steps:
- Install front floor center heat shield and the 2 nuts.
- Install the front floor forward heat shield and the 3 nuts.
- Install the catalytic converter.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Adjust the park brake cable. See DRUM PARK BRAKE ADJUSTMENT under PARK BRAKE in ADJUSTMENTS & INSPECTIONS or DISC PARKING BRAKE ADJUSTMENT under DISC BRAKES in ADJUSTMENTS & INSPECTIONS. Lower the vehicle.
- Install rear floor console.
