Master Cylinder Reservoir: Removal

- Clean the outside of the brake master cylinder reservoir and the reservoir cap. Disconnect the brake fluid level switch connector. Remove the reservoir cap. Remove the reservoir diaphragm. See Figure .
- Remove the brake fluid with a syringe. If the vehicle has a manual transmission, loosen the hose clamp and remove the clutch hose from the reservoir.
- Remove the screw that retains the reservoir to the master cylinder. Remove the reservoir and the grommets from the master cylinder.
