Master Cylinder Reservoir: Installation

  1. Use clean brake fluid to lubricate the NEW grommets. Install the grommets to the master cylinder. See Fig 1 . Install the reservoir to the master cylinder. Install the screw. Install the reservoir diaphragm.
  2. Fill the reservoir and install the cap. See MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR FILLING  under BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM. Inspect the master cylinder for fluid leakage. Connect the brake fluid level switch connector.
