Front Park Brake Cable: Removal

Remove the rear floor console. See REAR FLOOR CONSOLE .
Remove the park brake lever. See PARK BRAKE LEVER ASSEMBLY .
On vehicles with front-wheel drive, complete the following steps:
- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the catalytic converter.
- Remove the 3 nuts and the front floor forward heat shield.
- Remove the 2 nuts and the front floor center heat shield.
On all vehicles, remove the front park brake cable from the equalizer.
