Hardware Inspection

On vehicles with rear drum brakes, visually inspect the park brake hardware for the following conditions:
- Excessive Corrosion
- Excessive Stretching
- Broken Components
- Bent Components
- Twisting Or Binding
- Missing Components
On vehicles with rear disc brakes, visually inspect the shoe retaining springs for the following conditions:
- Excessive Corrosion
- Excessive Stretching
- Broken Hook Ends
- Twisting Or Binding
- Missing
On vehicles with rear disc brakes, visually inspect the shoe hold down springs for being bent, broken or missing. Visually inspect the park brake shoe adjuster for the following conditions:
- Excessive Corrosion
- Broken
- Binding
- Missing
