Content Theft Deterrent Systems & Immobilizer

NOTE: All theft deterrent module and Engine Control Module (ECM) functions must be programmed using GM Tech 2 scan tool.

Theft Deterrent module must be programmed after installation with (in order) security code, engine type, key cylinder number and VIN number. ECM must be programmed to learn new frequency code. To obtain security code and key cylinder number, contact dealer or vehicle manufacturer.
