Stoplight Switch: Removal

  1. Remove the left sound insulator.
  2. Remove the pushrod retainer (3) from the brake pedal pin (4). See Figure .
  3. Remove the stoplight switch (1) and the pushrod (2) from the brake pedal pin (4). See Figure .
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the stoplight switch.
  5. Remove the stoplight switch from the vehicle.
