Wheel Cylinder: Installation

  1. Install the wheel cylinder.
  2. Install the bolts. Tighten the bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Connect the brake pipe to the wheel cylinder. Tighten the brake pipe fitting to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Install the brake shoes. See DRUM BRAKE SHOE .
  5. Bleed the brake system. See HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM - MANUAL  or HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM - PRESSURE  under BLEEDING.
