Park Brake Pedal Assembly: Installation

  1. Install the brake pedal assembly.
  2. Install the park brake pedal mounting bolts and the nut. Tighten the park brake pedal fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the park brake cable to the brake pedal assembly.
  4. Install the front brake cable to the park brake pedal assembly.
  5. Install the brake release handle.
  6. Adjust the park brake cable. See PARK BRAKE ADJUSTMENT  under ADJUSTMENTS & INSPECTION.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
