Disc Brake Hardware - Front Single Piston: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
  3. Remove the brake caliper. See BRAKE CALIPER - FRONT SINGLE PISTON .
  4. Remove the front brake pads.
  5. Remove the front disc brake inner pad retainer spring.
  6. Remove the front brake caliper bolt, bolt sleeve and bolt sleeve bushing.
  7. Lightly brush all brake pad contact areas.
