Brake Rotor - Front: Installation

  1. On 4 wheel drive vehicles, use Wheel Hub Resurfacing Kit (J-42450-A) to clean the hub flange.
  2. On all vehicles, install the brake rotor.
  3. On 2 wheel drive vehicles, install the brake rotor and wheel bearings.
  4. On 4 wheel drive vehicles, install the brake caliper and mounting bracket. See BRAKE CALIPER BRACKET - FRONT .
  5. On 2 wheel drive vehicles, install the brake caliper. See BRAKE CALIPER - FRONT SINGLE PISTON  or BRAKE CALIPER - FRONT DUAL PISTON  .
  6. On all vehicles, install the tire and wheel assembly.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
