Master Cylinder: Installation

  1. Lubricate reservoir seals and bayonets with brake fluid.
  2. Install reservoir seals to master cylinder body.
  3. Install reservoir to master cylinder body by pushing reservoir bayonets straight down into the seals in master cylinder body.
  4. Install NEW reservoir attachment pins. Ensure that attachment pins are fully and firmly seated.
  5. Install brake fluid level sensor.
  6. Connect low brake fluid level sensor electrical connector.
  7. Fill master cylinder reservoir. Bleed hydraulic brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM  .
