Removal (California Emissions)

Disconnect negative battery cables. Remove retaining bolt in front of shield. Lift up on front of shield. Lift shield off rear bracket. Remove battery supply wiring harness nut and harness connector from glow plug controller battery voltage supply post. Remove glow plug wiring harness connectors from glow plug controller. Remove glow plug controller mounting bolt from mounting bracket. Remove glow plug controller from mounting bracket.
