Removal (Left)

- Raise and suitably support vehicle. Remove exhaust pipe heat shield bolts. Reposition heat shield to side in order to access exhaust pipe to exhaust manifold bolts.
- Remove exhaust pipe to exhaust manifold bolts. Lower vehicle in order to work through front wheelhouse opening. Remove wheelhouse panel.
- Remove front tire and wheel. Remove charged air cooler outlet duct.
- Remove exhaust manifold heat shield bolts. Remove exhaust manifold heat shield. Remove exhaust manifold bolts/nuts. Remove exhaust manifold. Remove manifold from rear stud. Remove manifold from front stud. Slide manifold out bottom, past oil filter.
- Remove and discard exhaust manifold gasket. Clean and inspect exhaust manifold.
