Body Mount (Front): Removal

- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove the tire and wheels.
- Remove the exhaust system.
- Use a jack stand in order to support the forward end of the rear suspension support assembly.
- Remove the brackets from the body retaining bolts. See Fig 1.
- Remove the bolts that secure the front of the support assembly to the body of the vehicle.
- Lower the front end of the support assembly in order to enable mount removal.
- Use a punch in order to perform the following actions:
- Bend the tabs on the inboard mount. See Fig 2.
- Tap the mount downward and out of the support assembly.
