Diagnostic Aids

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 GMC Sonoma, 2003 GMC Jimmy, 2003 Chevrolet S10 Pickup, and 2003 Chevrolet Blazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

If ignition voltage is out of normal range, (9-16 volts), AIR BAG warning light will come on with no Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC's) set. Loss of serial data communication between SDM and Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) will also cause AIR BAG warning light to come on.

NOTE: For circuit number and wire color identification, see WIRING DIAGRAMS .
