Zone 9

  1. Ensure ignition is off and key is removed. If activating passenger side impact air bag module only, go to step  5. If activating other SIR components, complete all remaining steps.
  2. Connect passenger-side air bag module connector. See Figure. Install Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clip. Install passenger-side insulator panel.
  3. Connect driver-side air bag module connector. See Figure. Install CPA clip. Install driver-side insulator panel.
  4. Install driver side impact air bag module connector, located under driver seat. See Figure. Install CPA clip.
  5. Connect passenger side impact air bag module connector, located under passenger front seat. See Figure. Install Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clip. Go to next step.
  6. Install SIR fuse in fuse block. See Figure. Staying well away from air bag modules, turn ignition on. Check air bag system for proper operation. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
