Zone 6

  1. Turn steering wheel to place vehicle wheels in straight-ahead position. Turn ignition off and remove key. Remove AM2 fuse from junction block, located in lower left side of instrument panel. See Figure. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Disable Zone 9. See ZONE 9 . Remove passenger-side front and rear door sill plates. Remove lower B-pillar trim panel. Remove seat belt pretensioner. See SEAT BELT PRETENSIONER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clip from Side Impact Sensor (SIS). See Figure. Disconnect SIS electrical connector.
