Circuit Description

Ignition switch supplies battery voltage to AIR BAG warning light via AM2 fuse. The AIR BAG warning light is connected to AIR BAG warning light control circuit of SDM. When ignition is turned on, Sensing and Diagnostic Module turns on AIR BAG warning light for 6 seconds, during which time SDM checks SIR system for malfunctions. If SIR system is normal, AIR BAG warning light will then turn off.
