Removal (1500)

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Disconnect the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister vent pipe from the canister. Remove the vent pipe clip from the canister bracket. Disconnect the EVAP pipe from the canister.
  2. Disconnect the fuel tank vapor pipe from the canister. Cap the EVAP pipes in order to prevent possible EVAP system contamination. Remove the EVAP canister bolts. Remove the EVAP canister. See Figure.
