Removal (3.8L)

  1. Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump is located under left front of vehicle. Remove the outlet hose clamp at the intermediate pipe. Remove the outlet hose from the intermediate pipe. Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the left front wheel assembly.
  2. Remove the fasteners from the front portion of the left front fender liner. See Figure. Reposition the fender liner to gain access to the outlet hose. Remove the outlet hose from the pump. Remove the outlet hose from the vehicle.
