Removal (3.8L)

Turn OFF the ignition. Disconnect the electrical connector from the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve. See Figure. Remove the 2 EGR valve retaining nuts. Remove the EGR valve. Remove the gasket from the EGR valve inlet pipe. Clean the EGR valve adapter from dirt and debris.
