Removal & Installation

Remove the tank shield bolts while an assistant holds the shield in place. See Fig 1. Lower the shield from the vehicle. To install, position the shield around the tank frame. While an assistant holds the shield in place, loosely install the eight retaining bolts. Tighten the bolts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
