Low Pressure Lock-Off Solenoid: Installation

- While holding the line union, rotate and install the IPR or the LPL as required to align the IPR/LPL assembly to the bracket. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the IPR/LPL assembly to the mounting plate using the attaching bolts and tighten to specification. Install the IPR/LPL bracket to the engine using the attaching nuts and tighten to specification. Connect the IPR fuel outlet lines to the IPR using NEW "O" rings. Lubricate the "O" ring with petroleum jelly.
- Install the line hold-down bracket and nut and tighten to specification. Connect the LPL electrical connector. Connect the fuel inlet line to the LPL fitting using a NEW "O" ring face seal. Lubricate the "O" ring with petroleum jelly. Tighten the fitting to specification. Install the negative battery cable(s). Tighten cable bolt(s) to specification. Start the vehicle and inspect for CNG fuel leaks at the serviced fitting using Combustible Gas Detector.
NOTE:
Apply pipe thread sealant with Teflon(R) to the threads of the line union. Do not use Teflon(R) tape.
