Fuel Tank Cover: Removal

Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Disconnect the negative battery cable(s). Remove the upper and lower tank cover mounting bolts. See Figure . Remove the tank cover from the vehicle.
