Fill Valve: Installation

  1. Install the fill valve into the mounting plate. Install the fill valve nut. Tighten the nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Install the mounting plate the fill housing with the attaching bolts. Tighten the bolts to specification.
  2. Connect the fill line to the fill valve with a NEW "O" ring face seal. Lubricate the "O" ring with petroleum jelly. Tighten the fitting to specification. Install the negative battery cable(s). Tighten cable bolt(s) to specification. Start the vehicle and inspect for CNG fuel leaks at the serviced fitting using Combustible Gas Detector.
