Fill Line: Installation

WARNING:
Natural gas is stored under high pressure. If a leak occurs, the high pressure could cause a personal injury. In order to prevent Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fuel leaks, always replace the CNG fuel system "O" rings during service.
- Install the fill line into the vehicle. Install the fuel line retaining clips. Connect the fill line to the fill valve with a NEW "O" ring face seal. Lubricate the "O" ring with petroleum jelly. Tighten the fitting to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the fill line to the HPL with a NEW "O" ring face seal. Lubricate the "O" ring with petroleum jelly. Tighten the fitting to specification. Install the check valve mounting bolt. Tighten the bolt to specification. Install the negative battery cable(s). Tighten cable bolt(s) to specification.
- Start the vehicle and inspect for CNG fuel leaks at the serviced fittings using Combustible Gas Detector or an equivalent liquid leak detector. Install the truck body as required on ZW9 equipped vehicles.

- Install the fill line into the vehicle. Connect the fill line to the fill valve using a NEW "O" ring face seal. Lubricate the "O" ring with petroleum jelly. Tighten the fitting to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Lower the vehicle
- Connect the fill line to the check valve fitting using a NEW "O" ring face seal. Lubricate the "O" ring with petroleum jelly. Tighten the fitting to specification. Install the negative battery cable(s). Tighten cable bolt(s) to specification. Install the tank cover. See FUEL TANK COVER .
