Removal (Pickup)

NOTE: Combustible Gas Detector (J-45878) is required for this procedure. See Figure .
  1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE  . Disconnect the negative battery cable(s). Remove the tank cover. See FUEL TANK COVER  .
  2. Disconnect the fill line from the check valve. See Figure . Disconnect the check valve from the tee. Remove the fill line check valve from the vehicle.
