Removal (Cab & Chassis)

NOTE: Combustible Gas Detector (J-45878) is required for this procedure. See Figure .
  1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE  . Disconnect the negative battery cable(s). Remove the truck body as required on ZW9 equipped vehicles in order to gain access to the CNG fuel tank.
  2. Disconnect the fuel fill hose from the check valve. See Figure . Disconnect the fuel fill line from the check valve. Remove the check valve mounting bolt. Remove the check valve from the vehicle.
