Removal & Installation (4.2L)

Turn ignition off. Disconnect Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor harness connector. See Fig 1. MAP sensor is located on top left of engine. Press MAP sensor retainer locking tabs inward and pull upward to remove retainer from intake manifold. Remove MAP sensor from intake manifold. To install, reverse removal procedure. Replace MAP sensor seal as necessary.
