Removal (4.2L)

Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor harness connector. IAT sensor is located in intake air duct. See Figure. Pull and twist outward on IAT sensor to dislodge sensor from intake air duct.
