Removal (4.2L)

- Remove the air cleaner element.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor (1). See Figure.
- Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct clamp (2) on the air cleaner side of the air cleaner outlet resonator (3).
- Remove the air cleaner outlet duct.
- If replacing the air cleaner outlet duct, remove the IAT sensor. See INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR under SENSORS & SWITCHES.
